Group of Landscape Architecture and Phytodesign
Subject: Design, creation and maintenance in the territory of Botanical Garden of display layouts representing different types of landscapes and methods of settlement gardening.
Main lines of the activity:
- Design, creation and maintenance of display gardens;
- Creation and maintenance of the tropical and subtropical plant collections in the glasshouses;
- Development of the assortment of plants and standard-type compositions for indoor use;
- Accelerated plant propagation with the use of hydroponics and tissue culture.
A collection of tropical and subtropical plants (more than 4.000 taxa) has been established. The front lawn has been redesigned. A bonsai park layout has been created.
